Description

Built in November 1959, this rare BN7 Austin-Healey 3000 was delivered new to Halifax, Canada in 1960.

The early history of this delightful 3000 is unknown but it was imported back into England in 1995 and registered JFO 281 upon its arrival.

Following use as a road car, the vendor sent JFO to highly regarded Healey preparer Bill Rawles for full race preparation in 2006. Bill Rawles prepared this 3000 to FIA Homologation period F, The car presents itself as a perfect front running car in the right hands. JFO in recent years under it current owner has been run by Healey specialist John Chatham cars with no expense spared on maintenance and preparation on the car. It has been raced very successfully and reliably over recent years with its highlight of attending two race meeting with a group of Austin Healey’s to South Africa. Competing in 8 races over the two weekend the car ran superbly sowing it’s reliability. JFO is currently undergoing new FIA papers and will be supplied with the sale of the car. This car is ready to go and be enjoyed being eligible for such race events as Spa Six Hours, GTSCC, Masters Gentlemen Drivers and Equipe pre 63.
