Offered for sale is a vey sort after and rare 1973 mini pickup. Fully restored over the past 4 years by Jack Chatham of John Chatham Cars as his own project. The car was acquired as a restoration case that had been started but hadn’t got very far. The car was subject to a full strip down to bare body shell and then acid dipped. Fully welded and strengthened the car was finished in the classic mini green with old english white roof. The engine under went a full overall and blue printed. Bored out to 1380 with powermax pistons,lightened flywheel full race head with rim flow valves, works style inlet manifold with 1’1/2 su carbs. To make the look slightly different a teak wood lid on hydraulic rams was added as a cover for the flatbed adding to the styling of the car.
